PENFOLDS MOTHER'S DAY KEY VISUAL: POINT OF SALE

Client: Treasury Wine Estates  |  Agency: Partners + Napier

The Brand Manager for global fine wine brand, Penfolds, came to our team asking for original retail point-of-sale concepts for Mother's Day. The client specifically asked for red roses included in the key visual, which we gave them options for, but ultimately this concept I developed is what was chosen. We made a case for deviating from the red rose ask due to the romantic connotation.

 

I customized a section of a painting from a stock photography website for the flowers. for the background and bottle wrapping I digitally custom painted over their existing brand assets for a familiar but special tie into the Brand's current flow point-of-sale look and feel. The design was then applied to a case card, shelf talker, and string tie necker.
